Writing in the Margins is relaunching!
With a renewed energy and a sharp focus on providing safer space for writers, readers and anyone on the margins to explore and express their identities, orientations, histories and desires – Calgary, prepare to write your heart out!
Our first writing workshop was the relaunch of the long-running and popular Smutty Story Circle, with a special Bisexual Visibility Event on Celebrate Bisexuality Day, September 23.
The guided writing exercises explored being bisexual and loving bisexuals, and we had amazing stories written about topics are wide-ranging as sexy safer sex, asexuality, masturbation, voyeurism, threesomes and moresomes. Some of these stories will be posted on the page within the next day or two – one of the most exciting changes in the new iteration of Writing in the Margins is an increased commitment to online accessibility and workshops, so that people who are not able to attend our workshops are still able to participate in the exercises and community.
