Writing in the Margins
Writing in the Margins will be hosting workshops at Mount Royal University, through a collaboration with the agency, Design4Change.
Design4Change is a community-focused marketing and design agency, and I met with a few members of their team today to talk about workshop space and future hopes for collaboration. The team, led by the lovely Patti Derbyshire, offers brand therapy, book design, and other creative projects. If you need marketing or design assistance, get in touch with these guys!
Similar to the collaboration with the People’s Poetry Festival, the collaboration with Design4Change represents another auspicious beginning and a step towards social change through collaboration and creativity. As their site says, “The Design4Change Centre acts as an ongoing resource and inspiration for creativity on and off campus.”
Their willingness to partner with a brand-new business in such an open-hearted way certainly points to their commitment to being both a resource and an inspiration.
