Writing in the Margins
Writing in the Margins will be at the People’s Poetry Festival presenting an 18+ Erotic Poetry Writing Workshop at 3:15 pm on Saturday, August 18 at the Resolution Art Gallery (cost: free!).
Tiffany will also be reading at the 2:00 pm Adults Only Poetry Reading at The Bottlehouse (cost: free).
I am thrilled to be collaborating with an organization whose goals are so in line with the goals of this company – from their site, “The PPF seeks to tear apart the notion that poetry is reserved for academic elites and enlightened beatniks.”
Writing in the Margins is also based on the belief that writing is a tool that should be accessible to people from all walks of life, educational backgrounds and experience levels. The workshop at the People’s Poetry Festival is the first official event for Writing in the Margins, and it seems like an auspicious start, and a welcome collaboration!
